News & Updates!

We welcome 5 Conversation Starters to co-create the conversations. They will join us via Zoom. Plus preliminary list of Open Space Sessions (click below to view details)

  • Conversation Starter, Peter Block, Designed Learning

The invitation to convene essential conversations is often the result of some disruption/opportunity. The Convener can turn back (without judgment) to what feels like a safe "place" or risk crossing into a challenging context. One must tap into an internal source of confidence (from Latin: confidere to have full trust) in order to go forward.

Q - What disruption/opportunity are you aware of in your context that might be calling you to convene?

Q - How would describe the source (inner or external ally) of confidence that can assure (en-courage) you that this is the time and you are what is needed?

  • Conversation Starters: Alan Briskin, Collective Wisdom & Mary Gelinas, Gelinas & Associates, co-authors and collaborators, Space is Not Empty

The “Arc of Recognition” is that moment of realization that there is a powerful relational energy arising in the conversation. The Convener is invited to let go of or hold more lightly their efforts to control the conversation to "yield" to this energy of attunement.

Q - How do you sense that the conversation is moving into a "field" that is generative and vibrating with possibilities?

Q - In what ways are you prepared to let go of "control" while holding the thread of purpose of the conversation?

  • Conversation Starters: Juanita Brown, Co-Founder, The World Café; President, Whole Systems Associates

The creative field feels wonderfully enlivened. Yet, the energy of creativity propels one into a commitment to carry the gifts or creative insights into the world. The Convener supports this movement and helps people understand that the creative energy may feel more diffuse.

Q - How will you prepare people to hold the essence of a powerful experience as they transition to their post-engagement world?

Q - What practices can you employ to help people distill and own a commitment to action even if they/it feels incomplete?

CPL Vision: A just, inclusive and interconnected world—a world that works for all.

In this time of great disruption, it is time to gather to help shape a positive future, a world that works for all. Let's step into a circle of inspired allies and advocates, standing shoulder to shoulder in co-creation. Bring your Curiosity, Compassion, and Courage to this pivotal conversation.

What leadership is needed NOW to co-create a world that works for all?

Join us as we reconnect, engage, collaborate to consider a shared, positive future, in community.

We will again design a collaborative hybrid event with participation roles for in-person and virtual interaction.

The world continues to pivot; disruption increases; our lives continue to evolve. As Purposeful Leaders, holders of space, and conveners of change, it is crucial to have the opportunity to pause and gather with allies and advocates for a world that works for all.

To create a future world that does work for a majority of people on the planet, we need to engage in new ways! What can we dream together? We have the opportunity to create a future vision, and then learn how to live into it. Together.
